I did not know that daughters could inherit in Israel if there were no sons. I remember being taught that Moses was not allowed to enter the promised land because he killed the Egyptian but it is clear here in Numbers that the reason is because he was disobedient to the Lord at Meribah about speaking to the rock to receive water.
