How did I not remember that Christ told His apostles that people would kill them? (And not only that but believe they were doing God’s work as they did so!)
“The Father Loveth you because ye have loved Me.”
It is right after He has been telling them of the persecution and rejection they will face from the world that He says that they should be of good cheer because He has overcome the world and that in Him they may/shall have peace incontrast to the tribulation they shall have in the world.
