Judges 3
Quite the history here. The people were brought into servitude for eight years and then were delivered. They had peace for fourth years until the man who led them in their battle for deliverance died then they returned to wickedness and were brought into bondage for another sixteen years before they prayed and were delivered. They had peace for a further eighty years before having to be delivered again. I see it as a blessing that the people had five times as long in peace as they did in bondage.
