JudMusterEd should not attribute any dishonor to the 22,000 who admitted their fear and left when invited to do so. Likewise we should not think less of the 9700 who were dismissed. Had it been only 300 who knelt to drink the water it would have been those who scooped and drank who were dismissed. The Lord was going to cut this army down one way or another and we need not be selected for every task. The only time to be ashamed is if we fail to show up when the Lord asks for volunteers or when we receive an assignment from Him.
When men stand in the place wherewith they have been called to stand and do what is asked by their appointed leaders they shall accomplish all that the Lord asks of them in miraculous ways.
