Was it really a good idea to have the men of Benjamin, whose tribe (other than themselves) were destroyed by Israel, marry the virgins of Jabesh-gilead, whose city (other than themselves) was destroyed by Israel? When there were not enough girls the people told the men of Benjamin to catch girls from Shiloh and take them as wives – sounds like something the priests of Noah would later do.
