2 Samuel 10 – 11
How often does taking bad advice from bad advisors spoil someone who might otherwise have been a decent leader?

How often are good leaders brought down because they take their eyes off what they are supposed to do and begin to act as if normal rules do not apply to them? Why did David stay home from battle that year? Was it a good reason, or was it an excuse that drove the spirit away from him?
