3 Nephi 22 – 23
It is always the call of the Savior that whatever our sorrows they shall be fleeting shadows compared to the joy we shall receive if we will wait on Him. That is true whether the sorrow was a result of the choices of someone else but also if it is a result of our own choices. In fact it is even true if it is the result of our actively choosing to reject Him – if we will make the choice to turn to Him in repentance with full purpose of heart.

When Nephi remembered that it had not been written that many arose from the dead and ministered to many after the death and resurrection of Christ it was he who had failed to record that. I’m sure hebfelt a touch rebuked and yet probably not much. He probably felt mostly admonished to record it now.
