2 Chronicles 19 – 20
When Jehoshaphat was rebuked for joining with Ahab he repented and helped his people turn to the Lord. When they were about to be attacked they sought the Lord and had no need to fight but spent three days collecting the bounties of a battle they did not have to fight. Jehoshaphat’s biggest weakness seems to be his willingness to trust and ally himself with the kings of Israel because of their shared heritage.
