Hebrews 4:1 compare to the 40 years in the wilderness
The Lord promised a land of rest to the Hebrews. But they chose not to enter the land. They followed Moses for 40 years in the wilderness because they refused to go with Moses to the land of promise.

Haiti had an earthquake of 7.?? And it devastated their country. Shortly afterward Chile had an earthquake of 8.??—10 times worse—and the devastation was only a fraction of what Haiti experienced because they were much better prepared.
