2 Nephi 10
The Jews at Jerusalem during the time of Christ were “among those who are the more wicked part of the world” and yet the preeminent apostles in the history of the world, those who will judge all the others, are those who were there with the Savior. Clearly this was a place where some of the most valiant were placed among some of the most wicked—as is the case in these latter days.
