2 Nephi 11 – 12
Nephi feels (rightly) that he has made a very solid case for Christ as the central figure of the plan of happiness because he has been able to send three witnesses who have seen Christ including two witnesses that he knows personally. I can’t imagine a better mix of three witnesses a person might use when trying to persuade others of a truth than having a personal witness, a first-hand witness of someone for whom you can personally vouch, and a first-hand witness of someone whom you have never interacted with.

Isaiah’s description sounds like our day today. The invitation to “cease ye from man” is an invitation for us today to chose that which is more worthwhile than simply what the world deems worthwhile.
