2 Nephi 16 – 17
Isaiah openly proclaimed that the people would not digest his words to understand them. Anyone who was righteous who heard him would understand what he meant and see the truth of what he said because they would seek to see the truth. Anyone who would not seek to know the truth of his words could dismiss what he said as nonsense. For example, those seeking the truth would recognize in his prophecy about being scattered and a tenth returning the nugget that the Savior would be born among the remnant that returned to Jerusalem.
