2 Nephi 25
When Nephi talks about the Jews understanding the things of the prophets he is referring to the news of his day. That does not guarantee that the Jews of our day would also understand the way that Isaiah spoke (which was meant to shut their eyes and ears because they desired it).
The news will believe the words of Nephi once they stop looking for a messiah other than Christ.
The actual name of the savior was withheld among the Jews so that none could use the name and claim on that basis to be the messiah. His name was only revealed before His birth among groups who had been separated from the Jews.
