Alma 30
The days of fasting, mourning, and prayer mentioned here would have been the days prescribed in the law of Moses.
If the law could have no hold on Korihor why did the people take him before Ammon and why did Ammon have him carried out of the land of Jershon? He must have done something contrary to their law there—perhaps as minor as ignoring “no soliciting” signs—enough to give them cause to remove him from the land based on his actions. Certainly the false testimony of Korihor before Giddonah that the leaders of the church were glutting themselves on the labors of the people was sufficient cause to have him tried for perjury.
