Helaman 8
I notice that the gadianton judges explicitly accuse Nephi of crimes but fail to specify what crime or even what type of crime. They hope that those who hear them will fill in the blank in their own minds so that people may come forth accusing him of a variety of crimes for them to choose from. As an added. Onus they would have many accusations o bring for as witnesses against his character. By not specifying a crime or even a class of crime they also make it impossible for Nephi to defend himself against any specific accusation.

I notice that they speak of having enemies but this is during a time when the Nephites and the Lamanites are friendly with each other. That would indicate that there are some people outside the scope of this record.

Nephi was inspired to testify of the murder of Cezoram as a witness that his prophecy of Christ was true.
