3 Nephi 28
I sometimes wonder if eight of the disciples heard the first one and concluded that it was a good desire or whether they each had that same desire independently.

I also wonder what the three thought of their own desire prior to the Savior promising to grant it. We are told that they sorrowed in their hearts but is that because they were ashamed or thought it impossible or was it because they could not articulate their desire (as if they felt a yearning for something but did not know how to express what they wanted).
