As I had hoped I got the site ready to take payments. I’m not ready to advertise but if someone came to the site now they could pay for the service. I also made it so that from our login screen an account holder can log into their account and manage it and a user can login and be automatically redirected to the webmail inbox.
We went to the Bishop’s Storehouse today for groceries and while I was there I felt something uncomfortable. I’m not sure I could call it shame because I believe that the laborer in Zion is worthy of his hire and I have always sought to labor for Zion. I also feel that while I don’t want to try keeping score with the Lord I have tried to be generous in my fast offerings and have paid much more in that I have received materially (at least so far and as long as I do not receive assistance for an extended period of time). I know that the people there love those they serve and don’t look down on them for needing assistance. On the other hand, I would prefer not to need to shop there in the future. I would prefer to soon be getting enough revenues through the site and any contract work that we can again be giving rather than receiving through the church welfare program.
