Isaiah 6 – 7
What is the significance of the seraphims covering (protecting) their feet? Protecting the face makes sense as it represents sight and also potentially hearing and speaking. I’m sure covering the feet is significant I just don’t know what the significance is. Perhaps it is the same significance shown in the washing of the feet—as Christ said to Peter, he that hath his feet washed is clean every whit.
It is interesting that Samaria was the capital of the kingdom of Israel. That is yet another reason that the Jews would dislike and avoid Samaritans.
Here it talks of shaving the hair of the feet as if that was a sign of disgrace. The feet obviously have great symbolic meaning spiritually.
