Isaiah 11 – 13
The Gentiles are religiously seeking to Christ even if many of them find only partial understanding of him and even if there are many who refuse to seek for anything spiritual. Those who seek for spiritual guidance among the Gentiles generally seek for Christ.
We still await the day when Ephriam and Judah no longer vex each other. If the seed of Ephriam is largely rooted in Western Europe then that day may be upon us presently.
I wonder if there is a connection between Assyria and Iran. If so, I could see a modern literal fulfillment of this highway for the remnant to return from Assyria coming in the form of a mass exodus of Jews from Iran (they are a substantial minority there). Upon checking Wikipedia I find that Assyria was northern Iraq. Iran correlates to ancient Persia.
I wonder if there will be a modern destruction of Babylon (beyond the American overthrow of Iraq).
