Jeremiah 6 – 7
The Lord explicitly condemns the practice of worshiping a fertility goddess here. The people may well have reasoned that a goddess was an appropriate complement to their God. I believe the same condemnation applies today to those who would worship Heavenly Mother. Although we understand that Heavenly Father is not single we are not authorized to offer any prayers or perform any other acts of worship to His eternal companion. I know that there are individuals who wish to do so (and likely do such things privately).
