Jeremiah 32
Because of the abominations that Israel performed in the land to many gods the Lord needed to cleanse it as He had when He gave them the land in the days of Joshua. That cleansing came by the hand of the Chaldeans and afterward the land would again be given to those children of the covenant who had pure hearts and clean hands who would be gathered from he places of their dispersion.
