Jeremiah 35 – 36
The posterity of Jonadab obeyed his instructions for generations to drink n wine and build no houses but the people of Judah and of Israel will not hearken to the words of the Lord.
The Lord gave the people another chance to hearken to His words and I find it interesting that the scribes and princes counseled Jeremiah and Baruch (who was assisting Jeremiah) to hide for their own protection against when the king should hear the words.
