Daniel 8
This dream comes two years after the dream recorded in the previous chapter but it seems to have the same major topic – the rise and fall of nations leading up to the return of the Messiah. I don’t know about the previous dream but this one was not meant to be shared widely in the time of Daniel.
Sometimes the footnotes are very helpful but sometimes they aren’t. I looked at the note for “choler” and it referenced me to a second verse which used the word and referenced back to the first verse. Neither verse defined the word. Thankfully Google informed me that choler was one of the four medeval humours and is associated with rage, fury, and anger.
