After a number of conversations about what kind of work I really excel at I had come to the conclusion that I would prefer to work for Solution Stream than for Tru Hearing.I spent the last two days trying to decide how best to make that known without jeopardizing my chance to work at all if Solution Stream didn’t have a place for me. Before I could figure that out my late Christmas struck. Steve Hall, my Solution Stream practice manager, sent me a message that he had a new assignment for me. He had talked to the appropriate people at Tru Hearing about the disparity between what I was hired for and what they are asking of me and they decided to drop me from this project. Steve then assigned me to a project for Franklin Covey that starts next week. I ended up with an extra half day off (paid), no prospect of being hired at Tru Hearing, and a clear path to stay at Solution Stream long term.
I am very excited about the possibilities.
