1 Nephi 11
When Nephi desired to see for himself the things Lehi had seen the first question he was asked was weather he already believed. Had he been asking in order to believe rather than asking in order to understand more completely for himself he could not have received the answer.
Lehi had a vision and testimony of Christ and John the Baptist. He may also have had an understanding of the twelve apostles that would follow the Messiah. because if what he already knew he may not have needed as much explanation of his dream. I love how neatly it all fits together the way Nephi received it.
