1 Nephi 15 – 16
I wonder if by the time he made this record Nephi considered the perspective that his afflictions were great above all because he had foreseen the destruction of his people to be immature? That was how he felt as a young man having just had this great revelatory experience, but as a more mature man making this record did he feel that there were much greater burdens to be had?

I wonder if Lehi really did fail to see that the river in his dream was filthy or if he simply failed to mention that detail when he told his dream.

If I were dividing the Book of Mormon into chapters I would have a chapter break after verse 8 of chapter 16 either by adding a chapter or by adding those right verses to chapter 15.

The death of Ishmael was a heavy must of darkness for his family.
