2 Nephi 25
I wonder if Isaiah us truly representative of the manner of prophesying among the Jews or if he was only representative of the manner of prophesying among the Jews at the time that Nephi lived among them. I suspect the possibility that the prophecies among the Jews were more plain during times of righteousness. The Jews will cease to look forward for another Messiah before they come to believe the words of Nephi. It is possible that the record of the list tribes of Israel will not be ancient but will instead be a more modern record in which those lost tribes are identified and come to openly accept Christ while still keeping the law of noises – just as the Nephites did.
