Mosiah 1
I am confident that Benjamin recorded receiving the small plates. I an also confident that if the 119 pages had not been lost we would have had a more complete record of the time between the writing of Jarom and the writing of the book of Mosiah. I seriously doubt or record of the time of Nephi would have been noticeably better.
