Alma 8
I am reminded of a city in Illinois that we drove through while I was assigned to the Greenville branch. Elder Thompson and I are trying to visit referrals in the further reaches of our area and we came to one town where there was a referral and as we drove around the town we felt a very dark feeling and the impression that we should not even stop. We never stopped and we never again visited that town again (it became part of the Greenville area when that area split from Highland). I no longer remember the name of the town, I c could check my journal but glancing at a map it might have been Mulberry Grove (I know it was up in that direction from Highland, beyond Greenville, and I’m petty confident it was in the vicinity of highway 40). I have a feeling that Alma felt a similar spirit from his first visit to Ammonihah.
