I have a hard time imagining that those who don’t believe in God would ever get this far into the Book of Mormon. If they did perhaps this would touch them.
Did the work of miracles cease during Moroni’s lifetime? It’s entirely possible that he witnessed a cessation of miracles among his people while he lived before their final destruction. If so he could have witnessed the corrosion between dwindling faith and dwindling miracles.
