I wonder if it was called the land of Heth in the days of Omer and Jared or if it got that name later (in the days of Heth). I can imagine the daughter of Jared already having an idea that Akish wanted her fit a wife and seeing this up not only to get the kingdom fit Jared but also to give Akish a way to impress hard and win his favor as a future son-in-law.
