Nahum 1 – 3
In trying to understand from the Nineveh connection if this Nahum was at the same time as Jonah I read the Bible Dictionary entry on Jonah which, without being long on details suggests that there is more to the life and ministry of Jonah than is found in the book with his name. I also learned that Nahum lived about 150 years after Jonah – just a little earlier than Jeremiah. It sounds like Nineveh has no hope of repenting in the days of Nahum.
