Until yesterday I never picked up on the fact that the disciples and the women who visited the tomb we told that Christ would go to Galilee after His resurrection and that they would see Him there.
Matthew acknowledges that the common story told among the Jews was that the disciples of Jesus sole His body from the tomb.
