I find it interesting that the leader of the synagogue told the people not to seek healing on the sabbath day. I think that displays a profound lack of empathy on his part.
If some Pharisees were warning Jesus that Herod was out to kill Him, was that because they secretly believed in Him or was it because they wanted to get Him away from Jerusalem and didn’t want to appear to have threatened Him.
