Acts 14 – 15
This clearly indicates that Paul and Barnabas were apostles. The question is, did the wooer use the term apostle to indicate ordination to a specific priesthood office or did it simply indicate someone who bore a witness of Christy to the world (which is certainly the calling of apostleship but can be done in a generic way by those who have not been so ordained)? We do know that Paul and Barnabas were ordained by the apostles for their missionary service, we just don’t know if they were ordained as apostles.
This may be the first epistle where the apostles made an official declaration that circumnavigation was not required but that many of the duress
Dietary laws such as avoiding meat that had been sacrificed to idols or uncooked or strangled should be followed by those who believe in Christ.
Paul and Barnabas separated in their work because of a disagreement between them. I wouldn’t have expected that.
