Acts 18
In Corinth Paul finally abandoned preaching to the Jews. They were always the ones to get the most angry at his preaching (although some of them always began to believe) so he turned his attention fully to the gentiles. It appears the Lord convinced Paul to continue working with the Jews with a promise that they would not be able to harm him.
