1 Nephi 20 – 22
Nephi read those passages of Isaiah to his brothers to give them an uplifting, hopeful view of what the Lord had in store for them in this new land.
Some of what he seems to have said to them might not have madee sense since it related directly to things he had seen in vision rather than just what Isaiah had written.
