2 Nephi 9 – 10
The words of men like Nephi and Jacob make plain the words of Isaiah. On the other hand, the new must have records of men who didn’t believe in Christ who offered different interpretations of the words of Isaiah so that, reading their interpretations the words of Isaiah wouldn’t point toward Christ as being the sought-after Savior.
