Journaling Jumpstart—Day 13

Perform a mind dump of everything you’re worried about. From the leaky dishwasher to your family member’s poor health — get it all out. Dwight D. Eisenhower did it, and it significantly helped him manage his stress. Just as your body needs to…cleanse itself of waste, so does your mind every once in a while. Getting all your stressors on paper may alleviate some of that pressure. Use David Allen’s GTD trigger list to help you out.

I’m not sure what to expect on this list.

Finishing the basement door (filler wood and trim)
Paying of $40K in debt
Paying another $400/month this year for Laura’s medical bills last year
Laura’s rash
Laura needing to eat food
Keeping up with all the details of my work tasks
Finding someone to replace Jim Nelson in house district 19
Exercising more regularly
Lose 20 to 25 pounds (me and Laura)
Get Ezra going to nursery alone
Plant a garden
Teach my kids responsibility despite interference from the school
Will the Supreme Court allow states to define marriage?
How quickly can I get my tax refund?
When will Isaac finally stop peeing his pants?
