Mosiah 12 – 16
I wonder if, when his people found the record of the Jaredites, Limhi thought about Abinadi’s prophecy that if the people didn’t repent they would be destroyed but that a record would be left so that those who later possessed the land would know of their wickedness. I’ll bet he did because it was almost certainly Limhi who recorded that when making a record of His people after he became king. (It’s possible that these details were taken from the record of Alma.)

I have no doubt that the priests of Noah would argue that they taught the people not to murder but I’m sure nobody could recall a single word from them on the subject of having no other gods or of avoiding graven images.

“If ye teach the law of Moses, also teach that it is a shadow of things to come–teach then that redemption cometh through Christ the Lord.”

That is exactly what Alma later taught his people.
