Helaman 15 – 16
Watching the people continue to languish in iniquity must have been a heavy burden for Nephi. He must have said in his heart “why will ye not hearken to the truth and be gathered into the arms of the love of Heavenly Father.”
I finally understand why the unbelievers would think that Christ wouldn’t show Himself among them. They were told that there would be signs of His birth and signs of His death suggesting that He wouldn’t be among them in mortality. That was true but ignored the prophecies concerning His coming among them and concerning His resurrection.
