When it says that “we have learned by sad experience that it is the nature and disposition of almost all men, as soon as they get a little authority, as they suppose, they will immediately begin to exercise unrighteous dominion,” I wonder if that observation is specific to men or whether it applies to women who get a little authority as they suppose. I’m sure some women are like that but I suspect that the “almost all” is specific to men.
