The fact that Abraham sought the blessings if heaven rather than simply being the one chosen by God to receive them is enlightening.
I think this “father of nations” is more than having great posterity. Abraham was long for something specific whichi think all can strive for If we understood it properly. (So far it’s just inklings to me.)
