What is it like to go seeking a miracle from the Savior? Many people know that feeling. It leaves you feeling humble and at least a little bit apprehensive. What would it feel like when He began following you home to perform the desired miracle of healing your sick daughter? I would feel hopeful and even relieved that He had heard my petition. What would it them feel like if He stopped because someone reached out and received a miraculous healing without asking? It could be comforting to see His power demonstrated but also dismaying to have your own miracle delayed. To then meet servants informing you that your sick daughter has died might leave you feeling bitter, resentful, or dismayed. When the Lord then says to not worry you might be hopeful again or simply confused. When He miraculously restores you beloved daughter you would feel elated and awestruck. Such was the experience of Jairus.
