At times I wonder how religious Lehi was earlier in his life before he received his call to preach in Jerusalem and later removed his family from that wickedness. We really have no way or need to know the answer to that. The important thing for us to know is that once lehi answered the call her was willing to do whatever the Lord required. He left the land of his inheritance and did so without taking thought for his great wealth. He trusted the Lord while his sins were in danger and admonished those who were with him to be faithful.
