I wonder how Mosiah I (the father of Benjamin) was able to unify two groups of people and begin forging a righteous kingdom. That must have been a monumental undertaking. I’m sure he would make the list of priesthood men if we knew more about him. Benjamin completed the work that he started by establishing the security of the people at Zerahemla against the Lamanites and culminating in teaching the people about Christ and encouraging them to covenant with God and keep His commandments.
The fact is that whatever was good among the Nephites in the next 150 years was largely due to the foundation laid by Mosiah I and Benjamin.
