Lamoni

I’ve always wondered how Lamoni could just declare that he would believe whatever Ammon said. Certainly such a promise is easy to give but summertime who intends to keep such a promise would need some idea that what they would hear would be believable. I’ve always thought that Lamoni had no such assurance available to him but I believe that based on anons actions to that point, the Spirit of the Lord testified to Lamoni that Ammon would speak only truth. This lead Lamoni to such a conversion that he would defy his own father in favor of doing what was right and supporting Ammon.
