We aren’t specifically told that Omer was righteous but he was enough in tune with the Spirit that he was warned in a dream when his life was in danger from a secret combination. He eventually regained his kingdom when the rival kingdom ruled by the last of that combination died out due to internal strife. Omer left the kingdom to his son Emer who ruled righteously, prospered mightily, and even saw the Savior. It seems that Omer must have been righteous to raise such a son.
