I have previously read President Kimball’s seminal work The Miracle of Forgiveness but I have a new appreciation for him now, probably because I’ve married in the decades since reading that book. Some people find The Miracle of Forgiveness to be harsh and uncompromising but I found it direct and comforting. It is only comforting after you willingly embrace it’s directness.
I think this description of President Kimball is among the best any person could aspire to: he had no patience for sin but almost infinite patience for sinners.
