The words of king Benjamin are powerful and ring powerfully across time to the modern reader but they must have been even more powerful to this who were present before him – those who felt their nothingness before God and then felt the forgiveness from God that their king acknowledged. I think that some people could have almost the very same experience today but few actually do.
